Today, being another Sabbath, Service was held as usual at Living Pilgrims Rehoboth Assembly amidst praises to The Creator of Heaven and Earth for keeping His Church till another new month, September, 2024. The Service commenced at 8:10am with an Opening Prayer said by the General Overseer, Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu, followed by singing of Hymn and worship songs which were driven by the Choristers.
Sunday School was held as usual in eight (8) different classes, and the topic of discussion was later summarized by the Assembly Pastor and Sunday School Coordinator, Pastor Felix Ayodele.
The Only Lesson for the Glorious Service, Psalm 23, was read in Yoruba language by the General Overseer, while the English version was read by the Church Secretary, Mr. Emmanuel Ogunmodede.
Collection of offerings was thereafter coordinated by Elder Sunday Alaka, during which testimonies, special thanksgivings, good women monthly thanksgiving and family annual thanksgiving were all accommodated.
The Choristers then presented a drama and song, and these ushered in the Preacher to the Pulpit.
Evangelist Asaolu in his Sermon, titled, "The LORD is My Shepherd", admonished the Church to always rely on GOD as their Protector and Provider, stressing that whoever puts his trust in other god will always fail.
Immediately after the preaching was the general announcement, anchored by the Church Secretary. Shortly after this, the General Overseer said the closing prayer and benediction, and then dispersed the congregation around 1pm.
Service Update was written by Brother Odunayo Ogunmodede
