Exodus 18:7
So Moses went out to meet his father-in-law and bowed down and kissed him. They greeted each other and then went into the tent.
ADMONITION:
Everyone deserves to be respected, but some individuals deserve to be honoured as well. When Moses received the message that Jethro was coming, he didn't sit up and wait till he got to him, but he went down to meet him on the way and then ushered him to his tent. This act is a symbol of honour. So also, your biological and spiritual parents, your teacher, boss, in laws, and so on, deserve to be well acknowledged at all time. Honour must be given to whom honour is due!
May GOD give us the spirit of humility, so as to do that which is right in His presence at all times. Amen.
