The Daily Light: GOD Wants You To Be Creative and Diligent

TEXT FOR TODAY:

Proverbs 22:29 

Do you see a man skilled in his work? He will serve before kings; he will not serve before obscure men.

ADMONITION:

GOD is creative, and He wants His children to be creative. GOD is productive, and He wants His chosen to be productive. Remember the parable of ten talents. Being a Christian shouldn't make us a dullard. GOD is expecting us to be the best in our careers. HE wants us to constantly upgrade ourselves in whatever we do. He wants us to strive in relevant knowledge acquisition, and He's always ready to bless us with the brilliance required to excel. GOD is a visionary GOD and an excellent Planner. HE wants us to reason, set goals, make plans, and then carry Him along. In our places of work He wants us to be diligent and stand out! HE expects honesty and diligence from us at all levels. This is our pride as Christians, because there is assurance of success for us in all our good aspirations. HE doesn't want an idle believer. HE doesn't want a lazy Christian. Productivity is a key characteristic of Him, and He wants us to strive towards same!

OBLIGATIONS:

i. Set goals for yourself, make plans and carry GOD along in them.

ii. Be productive. Don't stay idle. Get something done.

iii. Be the best in your career. Give it whatever it requires, e.g., further your studies, get more skills, e.t.c.

iv. Be a honest servant at all time. 

v. Don't be lackadaisical in your jobs or businesses.

vi. Get daily wisdom in the Word of GOD.

SUPPLICATION:

Our heavenly FATHER, we thank You for Your Word this morning again. Please give us the wisdom required to stand out in whatever we do, so that people can see Your glory in us and testify to same, in the Name of JESUS CHRIST our Redeemer. Amen.
