Today's Service at Living Pilgrims Rehoboth Assembly was declared open with an opening prayer from the General Overseer, Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu.
Opening Hymn was thereafter taken, after which Prophetess Folasade Asaolu (Mummy General Overseer) took over the microphone for combination of the usual morning prayer and continuation of the ongoing new year prayer. During this section, the Prophetess encouraged the congregation to always put on the garment of praises to their Creator.
Sunday School was then observed and generally coordinated by Pastor Felix Ayodele, the Sunday School Coordinator.
The section of tithe and offerings came up after the above, and was duly called and moderated by Elder Sunday Alaka. During this time, special thanksgivings and testimonies were also allowed.
In furtherance, the choristers presented a special number which then preceded the Sermon.
In his preaching which he titled, "JESUS in the Boat", Pastor Felix Ayodele admonished the congregation never to neglect GOD in whatever steps they are taking this new year and make sure that JESUS is always invited into the boat of their life.
While bringing the Service to a close, the General Overseer, Evangelist Asaolu advised members to pray against warfare of the evil ones and also commit their ways in the new week to GOD's Hand. The closing prayer and benediction were subsequently said by the General Overseer, and the Service was brought to a close around 11:35am.
