TEXT FOR TODAY:
Psalms 5:5
The arrogant cannot stand in your presence; you hate all who do wrong.
ADMONITION:
Arrogance in this sense might be interpreted as recalcitrance. A sinner who is so fond of his sinful acts and not ready to repent. It must be clearly understood that the more we enjoy sinning, the more distant we are to GOD, and the more distant GOD is to us. If we are desirous of continuing enjoying the goodness and presence of GOD in our life, we must be ready to forsake our old way and embrace the new life in CHRIST. HE hates those who do wrong. Which wrong are we still doing as individuals? Let us check our lives this morning and return to Him for reconciliation. HE has already called us to Salvation. It's now left for us either to accept His offer, or reject it.
ADMONITION:
Our Father in heaven, we thank You for everything You have done for us. We thank You for the gift of life. Please draw us closer to You at all time, so that we can enjoy Your eternal peace at the end of our journey in this world. Amen.
