The former Governor of Akwa Ibom State, who is currently the Senator representing Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District under the umbrella of All Progressives Congress (APC), Godswill Akpabio has emerged the 10th president of the Senate.
The Lawmaker had 63 votes against 46 polled by his opponent, Senator Yari.
