THE DAILY LIGHT: DON'T HATE OTHERS FOR THEIR SUCCESSES

TEXT FOR TODAY:

Genesis 4:8 

Now Cain said to his brother Abel, "Let's go out to the field." And while they were in the field, Cain attacked his brother Abel and killed him.

ADMONITION:

Abel did well in the sight of GOD and GOD passionately accepted him and his offering. Instead of Cain to emulate him, he envied and hated him. Consequently, he was terribly cursed by GOD. Brethren, if anyone is doing well or succeeding in any endeavour, do not hate him due to his success or achievements, but take lessons from his life style. It's always good to emulate good thing. Do not harm others for their successes. Do not blackmail others for a selfish interest due to hatred. Embrace good things. Remember that a sin will always lead to another if repentance is not embraced. Reference to the case of Cain - from murder to lying.

SUPPLICATION:

Our heavenly FATHER, we give You thanks for Your Grace' upon our lives, we pray O LORD, that You will please break every yoke of sin in our life, so that we can reign with You in Your Kingdom, in the Mighty Name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
