THE DAILY LIGHT: HOPE IN REPENTANCE

TEXT FOR TODAY:

Ezra 10:2 

Then Shecaniah son of Jehiel, one of the descendants of Elam, said to Ezra, "We have been unfaithful to our God by marrying foreign women from the peoples around us. But in spite of this, there is still hope for Israel.

ADMONITION:

The people had sinned greatly against GOD, but they later realized their faults, repented and ready to make amendment. By the Grace purchased for us through the precious blood of CHRIST, and as Israel of this generation, the LORD is calling us to repentance this morning, and this is the only key that leads to peace. It guarantees Life, and rescues us from eternal pain. Through repentance, we are embraced. Even if we are engraved here on earth, we will surely be raised again on the rapture day into glory.

SUPPLICATION:

Our heavenly FATHER, we pray Thee this morning, that You please give us a genuine heart of repentance, so that our hope of reigning with You on the last day will not be dashed, in the most powerful Name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
