Deuteronomy 6:14
Do not follow other gods, the gods of the peoples around you;
ADMONITION:
This is an instruction from GOD to the Isrealites, reminding them of His sovereignty. Our GOD will never share His Glory with any other god or person! Therefore, we must forsake every form of idolatry, make Him first in all our ways, and accept Him as the Only way to security, provision, good health, victory, and life eternal. Also note that every person or thing you place higher than GOD has already turned your idol.
SUPPLICATION:
Our FATHER, please strengthen our faith in You, let us know You more than ever before, and let nothing ever take Your unique place in our heart, in JESUS Mighty Name, Amen.
