The general overseer of the Living Pilgrim Rehoboth Assembly, Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu has charged the congregation not just to be compassionate on people, but instead, be merciful unto them.
In his Sermon, titled, "Mercy for the helpless", he differentiated between compassion and mercy. According to him, while the former is just an expression of sympathy, the latter is a way of coming to people's rescue or assistance.
The Clergy thereby urged members to rely on CHRIST alone, who is not only the Author of compassion, but typically of mercy.
Going forward, the preacher admonished the people to always be merciful unto others, shining the Light of CHRIST to the world, and not to limit themselves to sympathizing, but being merciful. He sighted the aforementioned as a key prerequisite to receiving mercy from GOD.
Living Pilgrim Rehoboth Assembly is located at Sijuwade, Akure.
