The annual children anniversary programme, which commenced on Thursday, 15th September, was concluded on Saturday, 17th amidst songs of praise, Bible Quiz and prayers to prepare the children for another school session.
The programme was officially declared open by the General Overseer of the Mission, Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu on Thursday.
The three days programme contained so many soul lifting and captivating activities which included but not limited to, share and care, wherein some subjects were discussed to impact knowledge into the celebrants.
Also imparting spiritually and morally into the children's lives are daddy General Overseer, Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu, Mummy General Overseer, Prophetess Folashade Asaolu with prophetic prayers, and the Assembly Pastor, Pastor Ayodele Felix, among others.
The Theme for this year's event was taken from Deuteronomy 8: 1-11, tagged, "let us remember GOD's blessings", where children were charged to always be thankful to the LORD in whatever situation they may find themselves.
Other values added to the programme are Bible Study and Counseling. At the Bible Study section, a guest teacher, Mr. Rotimi Ajayi admonished the celebrants to be always appreciative of GOD's faithfulness in their lives and also be respectful to their parents as well. In furtherance, while counseling them, Mrs. Arogundade, the Women Leader of the Church advised the children to always be contented with whatever their parents give them.
Rounding off on the last day, Mummy General Overseer, Prophetess Folashade Asaolu thanked every participant in the programme, including the parents and all donors, after which closing prayer and benediction were led by her as she discharged the congregation.
Putting icing on the cake is the Sunday thanksgiving which had been slated for Tomorrow, 18th September in the Church Auditorium, where the ministers of GOD will be showering the children with blessings from The Throne and further committing their ways to The LORD's Hand in the new school session.
Living Pilgrims Rehoboth Assembly is located at Sijuwade, Akure.
