The governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has approved the constitution of a 7-man Committee to ensuring the city of Akure and other parts of the State are cleared of debris.
The committee members are saddled with the responsibilities of tackling Waste Management and other related matters. In other words, they are to oversee the administration and management of the Ondo State Waste Management Authority pending the constitution of a Board for the Agency.
The committee's chairman is Mr. Kehinde Badejo, while Mr. Fola Omowole will be the Secretary.
