Jokes: The Greatest Liar

Teacher:   (Points to Lamidi) You, your father called me yesterday, complaining bitterly about your poor performances in school.

Lamidi:   (Keeps mute).

Teacher:   Now, let me ask you this common cultural study question. Are you with me?

Lamidi:   Yes, ma.

Teacher:   Who is the greatest liar in the whole world?

Lamidi:.  My Daddy.

Teacher:   (Shocked) What! Why?

Lamidi:   Because my daddy always say he was the best student in his class throughout his school days.

Teacher:   Was he not? And how did you know?

Lamidi:   I saw some of his school results, and his best performances were like 23rd position in a class of 25, 29th position out of 30, and sometimes 30th of the 30.

Teacher:   Really? Ok then, who is the most truthful person on earth?

Lamidi:   My mummy.

Teacher:   Why?

Lamidi:   She always tells me that she wasn't brilliant when she was in school, that that's why she wants me to perform better.

The teacher's phone coincidentally rings, it was Mr. Ajede, Lamidi's Dad calling.

Teacher:   Hello sir.

Ajede:   Hello ma. Like I told you yesterday, please help me handle Lamidi very well, I want him to be like me....

Teacher:   (Cuts in) He's already like you sir.

Ajede:   How do you mean?

Teacher:   He just confirmed to me through some of your school results he found, despite all your efforts to hide them!

Ajede:   (Speechless, stammers) Wh...a...t...
