Governor Obaseki wins Edo Poll

The incumbent governor of Edo State and candidate of the People's Democratic Party in the just concluded governorship election in the State had been declared winner of the race by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

Obaseki polled 307855 votes to defeat his closest rival, Pastor Ize Iyamu of the All Progressives Congress who had 223619 votes.
