WHEN LIES BECOME A NORM

INSPIRATION:

In a society where lies become a norm, atrocities become a practice, and crisis become a cramp.

EXHORTATION:

One certain thing about lie is that, when you tell a lie, you need another lie to defend it, and further lies to cover up. Lies won't end until you determine to say the truth, and by this, the growing lies die.

It's therefore advisable never to commence lying at all, so that you won't continue to fall into temptation of other atrocities that follow.

SOME OF THE DAMAGES THAT LIES CAN CAUSE:

i. It makes you lose dignity: Whoever values unfaithfulness will definitely embrace dubiousness, and thereby loses his respect and honour in the presence of others.

ii. People won't have confidence in you again: When others don't have believe in what you say anymore, certainly they will no longer be able to confide in you. It means you are not trustworthy.

iii. It causes you to lose opportunities: Once people can no longer rely on you, the implication is that you are not recommendable, and due to this, several opportunities will be skipping you.

iv. Your reputation is at risk: Reputation is a very vital factor that should be seriously protected, because it goes beyond a single generation. If someone's reputation is dented, the stains can extend to his children, and even grandchildren.

v. Lies cause crisis: In any society where there is no truthfulness, definitely, chaos, violence and unrest would be their dominance characters. They can hardly have peace.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

i. Be truthful at all times.

ii. Don't be too desperate to get anything in life.

iii. Protect your integrity at all times.

iv. Be transparent and accountable if you are placed in any leadership position.

v. Don't be dubious but be straight forward in your dealings.

vi. Be sensitive to opportunities, but don't plan to get them fraudulently.

CONCLUSION:

Honesty is a path to any desired fulfilment, and the output is always a beauty to behold. But lies and unfaithfulness are destiny killers, and if not avoided, can be injurious to careers, families and society at large. Therefore, let's be faithful at all times, and be rest assured of the gains that come afterwards.
