MONEY ANSWERETH ALL THINGS

WISDOM:
Ecclesiastes 10:19
A feast is made for laughter, wine makes life merry, and money is the answer for everything.

ADMONITION:
Truly money answers all things, but that's not a charge for us to seek money in 'too much' desperation or at the detriment of others, but to work diligently, make money in godly ways and raise others up from financial crisis as well. Proverb 22:16.

SOME FEW BIBLICAL INSTRUCTIONS ABOUT MONEY AND WEALTH:
i. Don't be too desperate to make money: Whoever is too desperate about wealth might have himself acquiring what the Bible calls 'dishonest money' in Proverb 13:11 - 'dishonest money dwindles away, but whoever gathers money little by little makes it grow'. Examples of dishonest money include money rituals, robbery, prostitution, etc. God frowns at them.

ii. When God blesses you, bless others: Your financial superiority over others is nothing but vanity, you only have a crown in heaven if you raise others up. Proverbs 3:27 says, "do not withhold good from those to whom it is due, when it is in your power to do it." Therefore, remember that whatever has beginning must have an end. See every worldly thing as vanity and make impacts on people's lives.

iii. Do not deviate from God because of money: In the BOOK of 1 Timothy 6:10, 'for the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs'.

Truly the Bible says the love of money is a root of all evil, but Bible didn't say money is bad, it all depends on the ways we find and use it. Don't become a murderer because you are looking for money, and never see any pleasure in being superior to your neighbour or relative due to your wealth. The wrath of God might be the consequence.

iv. Avoid pride: It is well understood that pride goes before destruction, and one of the major catalysts of pride is wealth. However, there are so many wealthy people who are humble, and this is what exactly is expected of us by God whenever HE places us in positions of wealth or power. The Bible says in Jeremiah 9:23 that, 'this is what the LORD says: Let not the wise boast of their wisdom or the strong boast of their strength or the rich boast of their riches'.

v. Do not oppress: Some many people who are opportune to be ahead of others in term of wealth have strongly seen opportunity as a means of oppressing, but this medium is a good time to stress out that God is seriously angry with oppressors, except they repent.

In Zechariah 7:10, the Bible says, 'and do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.’ Similarly in the BOOK of Proverb 17:5, 'he who mocks the poor taunts his Maker;
He who rejoices at calamity will not go unpunished'.

CONCLUSION:
There is indeed no gainsaying about the fact that money is good, and of course, answers all things, but desires of it shouldn't be a license to serving the devil. Remember the Bible says nobody can serve two masters, you can only choose one. Matthew 6:24.

Therefore and finally, do not oppress, oppression does no one good, raise others up, shun pride, and above all, serve the Lord with your wealth and let everything be utilized for His glory completely. Proverb 3:9.
