TUESDAY, MARCH 17, 2026:
Jeremiah 16:2
"You must not marry and have sons or daughters in this place."
AIM:
To make known the importance of premarital enquiries, both spiritually and physically.
EXHORTATION:
God commands Prophet Jeremiah not to marry or have children while living among the people of Judah. The instruction was highly symbolic and prophetic. GOD was about to bring severe calamity on Judah. Children that would be born at that time would suffer greatly from war, famine, and exile. At times, GOD gives instructions to His people to rescue them from imminent dangers, but if you don't seek His consent, such instructions might not be given. As a youth, before You go into marriage, seek the face of GOD and know His mind concerning the union. Pray. Fast. Seek counsel from godly leaders in the Body of CHRIST. While trusting in Him in this way, GOD will surely give a directive, whether you are to proceed with the marriage or not.

LORD JESUS, please guide the steps of everyone planning to choose a life partner, so that they will not take a wrong and destructive step, in Your most holy Name we pray. Amen.
