WHAT IS UNFORGIVINGNESS?
Unforgiveness simply means, lack of forgiveness. It's a situation whereby someone offended you and you found it very difficult to forgive him.
WHY IS IT A BURDEN?
It's a burden because the higher the number of people you refuse to forgive, the higher the number of heaviness of grudges in your heart, but the more you forgive, the more you are relieved of that terrible state.
WHY YOU MUST FORGIVE;
I. To free your heart from
the dirt called, '
'grudges'.
II. To live in peace with all men.
III. Social freedom.
IV. Good leadership delivery.
V. And lots more.
SCRIPTURAL POINTER;
Colossians 3:13 and Matthew 6:12 are some of the Scriptural pointers to the reasons why we must forgive. These verses have clearly stipulated that one of the strongest requirements to receiving forgiveness from God is to forgive others. Therefore, it's a serious demand from God, which every human must fulfill to get His attention.
CONCLUSION:
You would agree with me, dear brethren and compatriots, that forgiveness is a strong prerequisite to living a happy life, and also a major key to God's Eternity.
