Adegbonmire Felicitates Muslims, Urges Unity, Tolerance


The Senator representing Ondo Central,
Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire, SAN has extended warm felicitations to Muslims across Ondo Central and Nigeria on Eid el-Fitr, calling for a deeper commitment to unity, tolerance, and national cohesion.

Adegbonmire admonition was contained in his congratulatory message to the Muslim faithful as they joined the global Muslim community to celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of Ramadan.

He noted that the lessons of Ramadan—sacrifice, discipline, compassion, and selflessness—must guide both leaders and citizens in building a more inclusive, secure, and prosperous society.

The federal lawmaker called on Nigeria citizens to consciously reject divisive tendencies and embrace a shared national identity, nothing that peace and national security can only be sustained through collective responsibility and mutual respect.

He stressed that Nigeria’s future depends on bridging divides across religion, ethnicity, and politics through mutual respect and shared purpose.

Adegbonmire further urged Nigerians to continue to support the efforts of President Tinubu led administration towards economic growth, security, and social justice, emphasizing that sustainable development can only thrive in an atmosphere of peace and collective responsibility.

He wished the Muslim faithful a joyous celebration and called for continued prayers and active commitment to the unity and progress of the nation.
