Senator Adeniyi Adegbonmire
Adegbonmire is a lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, and an alumnus of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Faculty of Law. He is a member of the All Progressives Congress(APC) and won the Ondo Central senatorial district elections during the 2023 National Assembly elections which held on 25 February 2023.He defeated his closest competitor, Ifedayo Adedipe of the Peoples Democratic Party at the 2023 Nigerian Senate election.
A top-tier lawyer turned legislator, Adegbonmire assumed office in 2023 and serves as Deputy Senate Majority Leader. Known for sponsoring key legislation, advancing educational and infrastructural development, and serving as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, he blends legal excellence with community-focused governance across the South-West.
In terms of empowerment, the Senator has been so intentional in embarking on meaningful projects which he tagged, "Adegbonmire Renewed Hope Mega Empowerment Programme". Adegbonmire has distinguished himself as he stands out in his mission to equip members of his constituency individually and collectively through realistic and sustainable empowerment programmes, initially impactful bills at the National Assembly, Constituency infrastructural projects, and lots more.
Flowing from this and lots more, it is very imperative to note that Omoekun has the intellectual and political wherewithal to represent Ondo Central again come 2027.
