2025 WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY (WED) CELEBRATION: theme: Ending Plastic
Pollution.
The Nigerian Environmental Society (NES), Ondo State Chapter will join its counterpart nationwide to mark this year’s World Environment Day (WED).
Ondo NES has chosen to plant some leaves seedlings as a replacement for polyvinyl chlorides products meant for wrapping of swallow foods. In addition, trees will be planted to serve as carbon sink, wind breakers and erosion control mechanism occasioned by impact of solid waste.
Radio discussion would be held as well to commemorate the day.
