Sunday Service Today, 14th July, 2024 commenced with Opening Prayer, calling of Opening Hymn and Morning Prayer from the General Overseer of the Mission, Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu. In his admonition during prayers, the General Overseer charged the congregation never to be an ingrate, but be appreciative to GOD in all things.
Sunday School was thereafter observed, and it was review of the past five topics. The Lessons were later summarized by the Assembly Pastor and Sunday School Coordinator, Pastor Felix Ayodele.
The only Lesson for the Service was read by Pastor Felix Ayodele and Mr Emmanuel Ogunmodede in Yoruba and English languages respectively.
Collection of tithe and offerings was then coordinated by Elder Alaka, during which some testifiers gave thanks to GOD for what He has done over their families. Also, Mr & Mrs Temitope did their child dedication whereby the General Overseer blessed and prayed extensively for the family.
The choristers also ministered in song, and after that, the Sermon was delivered by Pastor Felix Ayodele.
While charging the congregation to make sure they grow to spiritual maturity, the Preacher advised them to forsake every childhood attitude in the Spirit so that their life can glorify GOD in all ways.
The general announcement was made immediately after preaching, and the General Overseer finally brought the Service to a close with closing prayer and benediction around 11:40am.
Service Update was written by Sister Cassandra Oluwatomiwa
