Today's glorious Service was declared open with an opening prayer led by the General Overseer of the Mission, Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu. Opening Hymn was thereafter sang, after which worship songs were rendered to draw the hand of GOD into the midst of His people.
The usual morning prayer was then led by Mummy General Overseer, Prophetess Folasade Asaolu, during which she charged members to be deeply appreciative to GOD for keeping them alive to witness the first Sunday in the month of May, 2024.
Sunday School was duly observed, and the topic of discussion was, "The Endangered Gospel". Pastor Felix Ayodele (Sunday School Coordinator) finally summarized the topic and then attended to questions raised by members.
The only Lesson for the Service which was taken from Acts 3: 12-26 was then read by Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu and Mr Emmanuel Ogunmodede in Yoruba and English languages respectively.
Collection of tithe and offerings, and invitation of testifiers was coordinated by Deacon Garba Arogundade. After this time, the choristers ministered in songs, and Sermon was thereafter delivered by Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu.
In his Sermon which he titled, "Repent and Turn to GOD," Evangelist Asaolu charged members on the need to repent from their sin, and also embrace nothing but the real Gospel.
The Service was brought to a close shortly after the general announcement at about 12:00pm with closing prayer and benediction, said by the General Overseer.
Service Update was written by Brother Odunayo Ogunmodede
