TEXT FOR TODAY:
Genesis 1:1, 31
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.
God saw all that he had made, and it was very good. And there was evening, and there was morning--the sixth day.
ADMONITION:
Verse 1 of the above Text makes it known that GOD is the Author of beginning and the ending. Nothing in heaven and on earth was created by someone else, except GOD. Everything that our anxiety is centred upon is created by GOD. HE is The One that can give us all our needs this year. HE is the Owner of all materials and spirituals. Verse 31 says everything created by Him is good. GOD is not evil, and He will never do evil. HE created everything good, and He's always ready to bless us with them. HE is inviting us to serve Him more diligently and truthfully this year, so that He can bless us sufficiently with all our good desires, including but not limited to Life, good health, and financial resources. Let us therefore start good this year by depending on Him fully for the new year journey and then be determined to serve Him better than last year's and ever before.
OBLIGATIONS:
i. Depend on GOD for the journey of this year.
ii. Be determined to serve Him more than last year's. Be determined to serve Him more than ever before.
iii. Be determined to love the Word of GOD deeper henceforth.
SUPPLICATION:
Our heavenly FATHER, we thank You for making us see another year. Please give us the Spirit to serve You more this year, so that we can have a greater experience of You, in the mightiest Name of JESUS CHRIST our Saviour. Amen.
