THE DAILY LIGHT: IT IS NOT YET TIME FOR THE WORK OF GOD

TEXT FOR TODAY:

Haggai 1:2 

This is what the LORD Almighty says: "These people say, 'The time has not yet come for the LORD'S house to be built.'"

ADMONITION:

Is this not what many of us are saying or thinking in our mind? Are we not saying the Work of GOD should hold on first while we prioritize our own works? Are we not sidelining GOD in our budgets? What about our tithes and offerings? Are we contributing to the various Church projects in our different Assemblies? What about charities and other needy? Are we not taking GOD for granted in our 'time investment'? How many hours are we giving to GOD per day out of our time? The above Bible verse is mainly about priority. The people prioritized their own projects and told GOD's project to wait. But GOD frustrated their blessings. To avoid related disaster, let us set GOD as priority in all our commitments, and His shower of blessings shall be opened unto us all round.

SUPPLICATION:

Our heavenly FATHER, we will always be appreciative to You in all ways. Please open our eyes to divine things, so that we can always set the right priority, which is You, in the Name of JESUS CHRIST our Saviour. Amen.
