THE DAILY LIGHT: WHAT ARE YOU TELLING YOUR CHILDREN ABOUT THE WORD?

1Kings 2:3 

and observe what the LORD your God requires: Walk in his ways, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and requirements, as written in the Law of Moses, so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go,

ADMONITION:

The above Text is the last charge of David to his son, Solomon when he was already dying. Now that we are still alive, what is our admonition to our children? Are we telling them the significance of the Word of GOD? Are we drumming it to their hears that obedience to the Word of GOD is a core prerequisite to a successful life? This is the best way to go in child upbringing. But then, being conversant with the Word of GOD and keeping to the instructions therein must be our culture if we are to raise GOD fearing children. This must be the standard for every parent who wants to raise godly children.

SUPPLICATION:

FATHER, we thank You for the light of today, please help us to know Your Way more and more, so that we can impart Your fear to our children and children's children, in the Name of JESUS CHRIST our Saviour. Amen.
