THE DAILY LIGHT: HOPE FOR THE WIDOW

TEXT FOR TODAY:

Isaiah 54:5 

For your Maker is your husband--the LORD Almighty is his name--the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he is called the God of all the earth.

ADMONITION:

Widowhood is a state of terrible depression and loneliness. Many people in this situation sometimes feel hopeless, but in the dictionary of GOD, there is no hopelessness. The Bible says they should look up to GOD as their Husband. Certainly, whoever has GOD, in whatever situation will certainly be divinely consoled. In whatever situation we have felt lonely and deficient, we should look up to our Maker who is sufficient and capable of reclaiming our lost grounds for us.

SUPPLICATION:

Our heavenly Father, we thank You for another glorious moment in Your presence, we pray that You will console every widow and widower, and fill their hearts with Your joy, in the Name of JESUS CHRIST our Saviour. Amen.
