TEXT FOR TODAY:
Matthew 17:7
But Jesus came and touched them. "Get up," he said. "Don't be afraid."
ADMONITION:
The disciples, in the course of their movement with CHRIST, saw a scaring experience, and were indeed scared. But JESUS neutralized their fears, encouraging them to be strong. As Christians, brethren, and in the course of our commitment to this Faith, we daily come across different challenges and fearful situations, but CHRIST is telling us today that we should fear not. HE has pacified us in the midst of all these challenges and allayed our fears, particularly with the hope received through His victory over death. Hence, we should be strong, carry our Cross and follow Him with all our heart. Remember that nobody looks back and worthy of the Kingdom of GOD.
SUPPLICATION:
Our Redeemer we thank You because Your Word is ever new. Please give us the boldness to face every challenge on our way in journeying with You, in the Name of JESUS CHRIST our Saviour. Amen.
