TEXT FOR TODAY:
Psalms 101:7
No one who practices deceit will dwell in my house; no one who speaks falsely will stand in my presence.
ADMONITION:
Many Christians today have become professional liers. Some of us that call ourselves Christians don't have an iota of truth in our utterances or reality in our attitudes, simply because we have lost our faith to the things of this world. Even in the Church, we see Pastors and other Ministers of GOD telling lies on the pulpit so boldly without being fearful. We see Elders deceiving their Pastors. So many Church leaders at different levels being involved in falsehood! We have seen people in charge of the Church money dribbling and duping the Church, thinking they are deceiving their Pastors, not knowing they are drawing the wrath of GOD upon themselves. As a Christian, either you hold any position in the Church or not, once you engage in any falsehood, ranging from lying to deceitfulness, GOD says You will not dwell in His House and you will not stand in His presence. The implication is that, He will reject you. Such a person is of no relevance in His Kingdom! We have to ponder over this and amend our ways.
SUPPLICATION:
Our heavenly Father we thank You for Your Word which is new everyday. Please give us the Spirit that fears You, so that we will desist completely from falsehood, in the most precious Name of JESUS CHRIST our Redeemer. Amen.
