THE DAILY LIGHT: ARE YOU NOT LIKE THE PHARISEES?

TEXT FOR TODAY:

Mark 7:6 

He replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: "These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me."

ADMONITION:

Many of us are like these Pharisees. We claim to love GOD verbally, but in our attitudes to His commandments, we are terrible and recalcitrance! The big question we must ask ourselves is, "am I real in this Christian Faith"? There is an adage that, "if lie progresses for twenty years, just in one day, truthfulness will catch up with it". Nobody can deceive GOD, we can only deceive humans. But of course, most of the deceits go back to us. There is a saying that, "if you point a finger to someone, the remaining four fingers will go back to you". There is timing for all our self deceits. Because one day, and very soon, the Ultimate Judge will arrive to judge all our unrighteousness. But now, we still have the time to repent. If we want to serve GOD, we must serve Him with all righteousness!

SUPPLICATION:

FATHER we thank You for another time to share Your Word. Please LORD, don't let us continue to deceive ourselves, so that we will not continue to worship in vain, in JESUS most precious Name we pray. Amen.
