THE DAILY LIGHT: TEACH US TO NUMBER OUR DAYS

TEXT FOR TODAY:

Psalms 90:12 

Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.

ADMONITION:

Numbering our days comes with joy and celebration, in which funds are expended in some occasions. While this is good, it is also pertinent to know the mind of GOD for this event. ....."that we may gain a heart of wisdom....". Wisdom in what? As a child of GOD, wisdom in CHRIST, growth in The Spirit, maximization of our talents for The Gospel must be our centre of concentration. While growing physically, we must be sure that we are growing spiritually as well. Growth in loving GOD, growth in loving the brethren, wisdom in loving His Ministers, should be our principals.

SUPPLICATION: 

Our heavenly FATHER, we thank You for increasing our days at Your chosen times, please continue to nurture us in Your wisdom so that as we are growing in age, we will also be growing in Spirit, in The most precious Name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
