THE DAILY LIGHT: GENUINE LOVE TO HIM

TEXT FOR TODAY:

Psalms 18:1 

I love you, O LORD, my strength.

ADMONITION:

This Psalmist is professing the love of GOD, just the way so many of us are professing it today. But are we being truthful in our confession? Are we honest in our services to Him? You cannot say you love GOD and still be deriving pleasure in sin. You cannot claim to love GOD and hate your neighbour. You cannot claim to love GOD and still be coming late intentionally to His presence. We must assess our lives and place ourselves on a standard, which is The Word of GOD, and then see if we are still on The LORD's side.

SUPPLICATION:

O LORD, we are always grateful for your love to us, please help our faith, so that we can be assisted by You in showing genuine love to You for the rest of our lives, in the mighty Name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
