THE DAILY LIGHT: THE BEST TIME TO SERVE GOD IS NOW

TEXT FOR TODAY:

Ecclesiastes 12:1 

Remember your Creator in the days of your youth, before the days of trouble come and the years approach when you will say, "I find no pleasure in them"--

ADMONITION:

Youthful ages have been generating questions lately, some peg it at 50, some says the 'elastic limit' is 45, while some admit it's 35. But in reference to the above Text, your youthful age is when you are still active both physically and emotionally, when you can still walk without anybody holding you, when you can still take decisions independently, and when you can still move around to talk to people. Brethren, this is the best time to serve GOD. This is when you can be productive for your Creator. He needs our services when we are at the peak of our functionality, not just when we are old and cannot even go to Church independently. The reward for serving GOD is sacrosanct, it can never be taken away from those who serve Him diligently. Serve Him now, procrastination may be deadly. Any other day might be too late!

SUPPLICATION:

Our heavenly FATHER, we appreciate You for Your Word this morning again, please empower us with Your Spirit on a daily basis, so that we can maximize our potential for Your Gospel, especially at this stage of our life when we are still very active, in the mighty Name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
