THE DAILY LIGHT: GOD DOESN'T OVERLOOK SIN

TEXT FOR TODAY:

1King 15:5 

For David had done what was right in the eyes of the LORD and had not failed to keep any of the LORD'S commands all the days of his life--except in the case of Uriah the Hittite.

ADMONITION:

David did well in serving GOD in his life time, but sin of adultery was a major stain on his garment, and he paid for it. The implication of which is that, GOD will never ignore any sin, no matter how little you think it is. The Scripture proceeds in providing that death is the reward of sin. Not only physical death, but eternal death as well, especially for sins that are not repented of. Let's make every effort to run away from sins, strengthen our friendship with GOD and always seek the intervention of Holy Spirit  in the journey of our faith.

SUPPLICATION:

Our heavenly FATHER, we thank You for another beautiful day, please forgive us all our sins and equip us with a heart that hates sin, so that our relationship with You will always be cordial, we ask for this and more spiritual breakthrough, in the Name of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. Amen.
