"I rejoiced when I heard them say, let us go to the house of the Lord," were the voices of the worshippers at Living Pilgrims Rehoboth Assembly (LPRA) this morning as they came with grateful hearts to the presence of God as they celebrated the Children Anniversary.
The service commenced with praise and worship, led by the Church Choir, after which Mummy General Overseer, Prophetess Folasade Asaolu led the morning prayer which was a continuation of the ongoing 9-Sunday prayer, wherein prayers against spiritual blockages were the targeted subject.
Continuing in the Service, the Sunday School was led by Pastor Felix Ayodele who talked about the Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Several questions were later raised by members, and answers were provided appropriately.
Duly progressing in the Children Anniversary, an award of excellence was presented to Mummy General Overseer in appreciation of her job well done, both spiritually and physically over the children and the church as a whole.
Furthermore, there were varieties of presentations by the celebrants, and the congregation really appreciated GOD in their lives for the wonderful ministrations.
Proceeding to the Sermon, the Church Choir rendered a soul lifting song, which was followed by a Sermon delivered by
Brother Tomiwa Arogundade, which he tagged, "lust", in which he talked about the prodigal son. He further advised the Church to always possess the spirit of repentance and return to GOD, just like the prodigal son.
Other activities include the Anniversary thanksgiving, September birthday celebrants thanksgiving, and lots more.
Service Update was written by Bro Seye Ogunleye and edited by Sister Doyin Asaolu.
