TEXT FOR TODAY:
Leviticus 25: 1,2
1 The LORD said to Moses on Mount Sinai,
2 "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter the land I am going to give you, the land itself must observe a sabbath to the LORD.
ADMONITION:
Our Text for Today is a reflection of the importance that GOD attach to the Sabbath. HE never joked with it. The Sabbath is a special and reserved day for GOD, it's a day of honour to Him, a day of worship and adoration, a day that bears witness to His resurrection and supremacy. It's not a day to wash cloth, or organize party or social meetings, honouring Him must be the priority on this Holy day. Do not be in hurry to leave the Church. HE has reserved This Day for Himself, it shouldn't be shared with Him. He never shares His Glory with anyone! Let's go before Him in humility this morning and worship Him like never before! The reward of obedience will follow!
SUPPLICATION:
Our heavenly FATHER, we thank You for sparing our lives to know another Sabbath, please give us the heart of true worship and let our Services in Your Sanctuary Today be acceptable before you, in JESUS Mighty Name. Amen.
