TEXT FOR TODAY:
Deuteronomy 20:18
Otherwise, they will teach you to follow all the detestable things they do in worshiping their gods, and you will sin against the LORD your God.
ADMONITION:
Brethren, this is one of the warnings of GOD to the Isrealites, lest they do things that unbelievers do. This caution, by extension as Christians, is still applicable to us today. He who thinks he has stand firm should be watchful so as not to fall. We must not mix with the world. We must not emulate evil doers for any advantage. It is injurious to our Salvation.
SUPPLICATION:
Our heavenly FATHER, please always open our eyes of understanding so that we can, in your directive and guidance, jettison every bad influence in our life, in the Mighty Name of JESUS. Amen.
