TEXT FOR TODAY:
Ephesians 6: 2-3
"Honor your father and mother"--which is the first commandment with a promise. "That it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth."
ADMONITION:
The Text above indicates that the Scripture really supports moral values which are norm in the society. How are you relating with your parents and every elderly people? The Bible tells us that giving due respect to them is one of the prerequisites to long life, and of course, blessings that support prosperity both spiritually and physically.
SUPPLICATION:
Our FATHER, please give us the spirit of humility and wisdom required to respect our parents, every elderly people and our superiors at the appropriate quarters, in the Mighty Name of JESUS. Amen.
