Comrade (Prince) Olapade Ademola
The State Chairman, Nigeria Civil Service Union (NCSU), Comrade (Prince) Olapade Ademola Adeniji, on behalf of the Union - Ondo State Council, felicitated with the workers and the good people of Ondo State on the special occasion of the New Year Celebration.
The number one member of the Union, with a grateful heart thanked God for the mercy, love and grace given to the workforce to see the New Year 2022 in good health. He recalled that the previous year 2021 was full of challenges which were overcome by the grace of God.
As we journey in the new year, Comrade Ademola encouraged all and sundry to have faith and place their hope in God, believing that the same God who made it possible for the workforce and their household to survive the previous year despite the high level of insecurity and cost of living in the Country, will certainly see them through this New Year.
He thereafter commended the State government for being proactive in the area of security by beefing up security architecture in the State. He further enjoined all to continue praying for our dear State and the Country at large. He thereby charged workers to continue to be diligent in their duties and cooperate with the State government in moving the State forward.
Continuing, he thanked the government of Ondo State for taking the welfare of workers seriously. He also appreciated the commencement of payment of arrears of outstanding salaries by the State government, hoping that the issue of percentage salaries in the State would not be experienced in 2022, implying that workers will continue to receive their salaries as and when due. Likewise, he appreciated workers for the patience and maturity exhibited during the period of delay of payment of salaries.
Conclusively, he wished the workers a happy new year, and expressed hope of a better year in 2022.
