Arising from the meeting between Organized Labour and government representatives on Tuesday, 8th of June, core civil servants would be paid 40% balance of February 2021 salary, likewise TESCOM and PENSION. Also to get the 40% is UNIMEDTH and higher institutions on subvention. However, OSOPADEC, Judiciary and Owena Press Ltd will get 100% for the month of March.
The meeting, which commenced on Monday and later adjourned to Tuesday morning, generated series of heats, arguments and comparison between the two parties, before consensus was reached as analysed above.
