Title: Living to please GOD, not man

Lesson: Joshua 24: 15-21

Living to please GOD should be the principal goal of every man.

It's not beneficial to please man, but GOD.

Paul charged the Thessalonians to serve GOD, and GOD alone.

If you live your life for man, he will disapoint you.

Living to please GOD means knowing what pleases Him.

Living to please GOD means living in the light of His Word.

Living to please GOD means doing His will.

Pleasing GOD begins with having the right heart with Him.

You must have the heart of a shepherd.

Hospitality.

Sacrificial life.

You must have spiritual principles that please GOD.

You must be dressing to please GOD, not clothes that expose your body, especially the women.

Requirements/Prerequisites of pleasing GOD include but not limited to;

* Seeking GOD in faith.

* Working in Spirit and not flesh.

* Worshipping GOD in faithfulness and honesty.

*Avoidance of corrupt conducts in the presence of GOD.

* Contentment

* Patience and gentility

* Wisdom and faith

* Avoidance of spiritual laziness

* Humility

* Your generation must know GOD.

Living to please GOD includes proper dressing.

GOD is the first tailor, in order to cover our nakedness in the garden of Eden.

A woman must not wear what belongs to man, and a man must not wear what belongs to a woman.

Self satisfactory is a waste.

Self satisfactory is vanity.

The way of pleasing GOD is to do His Will.
