i. Pride is a gradual killer: The Scripture says pride goes before destruction. It pushes someone to misbehave in many ways, which causes him or her to perish so quickly.

ii. It makes someone lose value: Respect is reciprocal, no doubt. When you disrespect people, you also lose your self esteem. Some people might be forced to ignore you at some points too.

iii. It blindfolds you about realities of life: Some actually think they are superior to others, and this is the greatest lie of all time. Every human is equal. We were all made of dust, and we will all return to dust.

iv. You will be ignored: Some people who might still be of great importance to you may lose interest in you, and thereby ignoring you. They are people who hate to be insulted, and really value their integrity.

v. You become more foolish: Each time you think you are superior to others, you become more miserable, but unconscious of it.
