The Organized Labour has told the governor of Ondo State, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to draw out a clear and acceptable modality for regular payment of workers' salaries in the State.
This was contained in a letter dated 18th of November, which was jointly signed by the chairmen and secretaries of JNC, NLC and TUC in the State.
Part of the prayers of the Union according to the document include but not limited to, regular payment of gross salary as against the net which is currently practised, payment of outstanding deductions, and inclusion of Labour representatives in decision making on how the monthly allocations are being spent.
The Labour therefore gave the government till November 27 to convey a meeting for proper discussion and resolution of the matter, in order to guarantee further industrial peace in the State.
