Money and Intelligence

INSPIRATION:

When money speaks, intelligent listens but can't rebuke, when intelligent speaks, money modifies and implements.

ADMONITION:

Money answers all things. Do the needful when you still have the strength - try your best to see that your children do not inherit poverty from you. Leave them a legacy of convenience, and not of hardship! If you inherited poverty, it's not your fault, but if you transfer it to your offsprings, then it's your fault.

Someone who recently retired from the Civil Service said, "ahh, this retirement met me unexpected". Is that true, after 35 years in Service? Definitely no! He didn't prepare, he didn't have a house of his own. That's terrible. He still have children in primary and secondary schools. Lack of preparedness. No savings. Definitely, he's gradually leaving a legacy of poverty for those children.

It's therefore advisable, that we must use our intelligence to plan for future, because being broke at retirement can be suicidal.

SOME FACTS ABOUT MONEY AND INTELLIGENCE:

i. Intelligence is power: This is the capacity of our minds to understand principles, truths, acquire knowledge and apply them to practice. Possessing these qualities imply mental strengths, through which we can achieve a lot of things.

ii. Money is power: Money is a special type of power required to achieve anything. Even to serve GOD, we need money. To plan for your retirement, you need both intelligence and money. To move from one place to  another, you need money. The Scripture even testifies that, "money answers all things".

iii. Money without intelligence is comic: When a fool acquires money in one way or the other, especially through inheritance, once he still remains a fool by not seeking knowledge, the wealth will disappear into the space like smoke. Money needs to be tied down through investment and lots of financial expertise.

iv. Intelligence without money is an illusion: In our current society, once you are poor, your statements can hardly make sense, which implies that you enjoy little or no recognition. This is the more reason why 'we must never walk when we need to run'. 

v. Money plus intelligence is a virtue: When intelligence is combined with wealth, what we get is virtue and fortune, and this combination is the greatest success ever.

CONCLUSION:

One clear fact remains that everybody is intelligent in one way or the other, and all humans are designed such that the choice to activate our brilliance or not strongly depends on us. It's of course beneficial to use both physical and mental strengths within us to work towards creating fortune - creativity. This is the real beauty of humanity.
