TRAIN UP A CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO

WISDOM:
Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverb 22:6.

 GUIDANCE:
Children are very valuable in the hand of God, and He gives them to us at will as gifts. We are not the owners of them, but guardians.

However, God never told us to leave them untrained or uncorrected, the Scripture rather went ahead to recommend whips. Proverb 23: 13-14. This is to make us realize the level of importance attached to correction by God.

 OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
I. Correcting a child is not negotiable. Never must we over - pamper them.

II. We must show love and care to them. It's a negative attitude to be too harsh on children, but better to make them our close friends.

III. Formal education is their rights, and we must give it to them to the best of our abilities.

IV. Home training is of paramount importance, and family alters too.

V. Never leave your children at home while going to Church due to domestic activities.

VI. And lots more.

 CONCLUSION:
Leaving your children untrained is a terrible sin before God, and it's important to do the needful, show love to them, and never leave any stone unturned when it comes to correcting them. Ephesians 6:4.

Happy children's day to all our african kings and queens, the wonderful celebrants of today!
