Federal Government Declares Public Holiday in Honour of the Late President, Mohammadu Buhari

The Federal Government has declared Tuesday, 15th July, 2025 as Public Holiday in honour of the late former President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari, GCFR.

The Honourable Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, disclosed this on behalf of the Federal Government, following the approval of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

The Minister said the holiday is a mark of respect for the late President for his contributions to the national development and his legacy in governance.

“President Muhammadu Buhari served Nigeria with dedication, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the unity and progress of our great nation. This public holiday provides an opportunity for all Nigerians to reflect on his life, leadership, and the values he upheld,” the Minister said.

Buhari Asked Nigerians to Forgive Him Before He Died

Aisha Buhari: “Before He Died, My Husband Asked Nigerians to Forgive His Mistakes”
Aisha Buhari, wife of former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, has shared a deeply personal message about one of her husband’s final wishes.

According to her, he often reflected on his time in office and expressed a desire for understanding and forgiveness from the public.

“He acknowledged that as a human being, he was not perfect and may have erred in judgment,” she said.

 “So today, I humbly ask every Nigerian to forgive him before he is laid to rest.”

Living Pilgrims Rehoboth Assembly: Don't Misuse the Opportunity You Have in GOD's Vineyard - Pastor Ayodele

Today's Glorious Sunday Service started at 8am when the General Overseer, Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu said the opening prayer, which was followed by worship, and then morning prayer.
Sunday School was thereafter held in six different classes, and the subject was finally summarized by Pastor Felix Ayodele, after which he entertained questions from the congregation.
The only Lesson was taken from 1 Samuel 2: 27-36, it was read in Yoruba language by Pastor Felix Ayodele, while the English version was read by Miss Doyin Asaolu.
Offerings were collected and this section was coordinated by Elder Omojowo.
The Choristers then ministered with a Spirit-filled song, after which the Sermon took place.
The Sermon which was titled, " God's Programme for the People," was delivered by Pastor Felix Ayodele, who admonished the Church to continue to rely on God's plan at all times and never misuse the opportunity given to them to serve in GOD's Vineyard.
The general announcement was made by Engineer Samuel Ayiloge immediately after the preaching, and the closing prayer and benediction was led by the General Overseer.

The Service was brought to a close around 11:45am.

Living Pilgrims Rehoboth Assembly: You Must Live a Life of Righteousness at all Times - Evang. Asaolu

Sunday Service started Today at Living Pilgrims Rehoboth Assembly around 8am when the General Overseer, Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu led the Opening Prayer. Opening Hymn was then sang from the Gospel Hymn Book (GHB) 79, and the Choristers thereafter led the Church through a worship session.
The Morning Prayer was anchored by the Church Matriarch, Prophetess Folasade Asaolu, in which she emphasized strongly on the significance of praises unto the LORD. Going forward during this time, the Prophetess took the Church through Hymns from the GHB 69, 78 and 815.
Sunday School was later held, and the Class was generally anchored by Pastor Felix Ayodele, the Sunday School Coordinator.
The only Lesson for the Glorious Service was taken from 2 Peter 2: 1-9, and same was read in Yoruba language by the General Overseer, while the English version was read by the Church Secretary, Mr Emmanuel Ogunmodede.
Collection of offerings was coordinated by Elder Sunday Alaka, after which the Choir presented a special song ministration with the title, "I AM The LORD that heals You".
The Preacher then mounted the Pulpit with a Sermon Topic, "A Herald of Righteousness". In his Message, the Preacher, Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu advised the congregation to try everything in their capacity to live a life of righteousness at all times.
After the Sermon came the General Announcement which was said by the Church Secretary, and this was followed by the Closing Prayer and Benediction, duly led by the General Overseer.
The Service was consequently ended around 12:30pm.

Living Pilgrims Rehoboth Assembly's Worship on Last Sunday in The Month of June

Sunday Service started at Living Pilgrims Rehoboth Assembly Today, 29th June, 2025 at 8:00am when the General Overseer, Evangelist Kolawole Asaolu led the opening prayer, which was followed by opening hymn, and then worship session. Morning prayer was also led by the General Overseer.

Sunday School was held in eight different classes, and the subject was later summarized by Mrs Shaba Romola.

The only Lesson (Mark 7: 14-23) for the Glorious Service was read in Yoruba language by Elder Sunday Alaka, and was also read in English language by Brother Emmanuel Fatomilola.

Collection of offerings was coordinated by Deacon Martins Alaka, during which testimonies and special thanksgivings were given room for.

Choir then ministered through a song, and the Preacher thereafter mounted the pulpit.

In his Sermon, titled, "a heart that GOD desires", Elder Alaka emphasized on the significance of complete obedience to GOD, stressing that it is the prerequisite to pleasing GOD.

Bringing the Service to a close, the General Overseer said the closing prayer and benediction around 11:20am.
