MESSAGE TO THE PURPORTED BENEFICIARIES OF THE UNAUTHORIZED PRIMARY DECLARATION

To those celebrating the illegal and fraudulent declaration of results for the Ondo Central Senatorial Direct Primary:

Do not rejoice yet. That declaration is an exercise in futility and carries no weight within the All Progressives Congress.

The National Working Committee is the highest decision-making organ of the party on electoral matters. Only results collated, verified, and announced by the duly constituted APC Primary Election Committee and endorsed by the NWC are valid and binding on the party.

Any announcement made outside that process is null and void. The NWC has taken note of the irregularities and will address them in line with the APC Constitution and the Electoral Guidelines. Until an official pronouncement is made by the party’s authorized organs, no candidate can claim to be the valid flagbearer for Ondo Central Senatorial District.

Party members and the public are advised to remain calm, avoid actions that could breach the peace, and await the official position of the NWC.

The party will not reward illegality.
